That means there’s no hollow case for powder inside, and the “bullet” at the tip isn’t a separate piece like on a live round. At a glance, it matches the dimensions and look of the original, but it’s not meant for use in real firearms. For safety reasons, Denix makes their replicas just slightly smaller than actual ammunition, so that real cartridges cannot be chambered in their decorative guns. These cartridges are designed to work with the Mod. 73 Winchester Lever Action Rifle with Functional Loading. You can load them into the rifle’s internal magazine, cycle them into the chamber, and eject them with the lever – just like with the real rifle. Each Mod. 73 comes with three cartridges included, but these extras are available separately if you want more.
