Description • Official Moomin Characters licensee • Each product is individually inspected The Stockmann Moomin jar was launched in 2017 and it was in production only for one year. The Stockmann jar complemented the original Stockmann Moomin collection from 2012. The original collection was made to celebrate department store Stockmann’s 150th anniversary. The illustration on the jar was taken from a gift paper wrap that Tove Jansson had designed for Stockmann in the 1950’s. Stockmann’s 150th anniversary collection included various items, which you could only buy from Stockmann. In addition to the jar, other Moomin products made by using Tove Jansson’s gift paper’s designs were a Moomin mug, tea and coffee jars, a coaster, a tray, a plate, a pitcher and a kitchen towel.
