Muminhyllan – handmade shelf for Moomin mugs (2024-) *NEW*

Description • Official Moomin Characters licensee • Each product is individually inspected Muminhyllan (“Moomin shelf”, direct translation) is the first official shelf made especially for displaying Moomin mugs. Muminhyllan is handmade by carpentry teacher Christian Enkvist in Parainen, Finland. Muminhyllan is an official Moomin Characters licensed product. One Muminhyllan fits 24 Moomin mugs. Each space can fit a traditional 0,3 liter Moomin mug as well as the bigger 0,4 liter versions. Muminhyllan is suitable for displaying other small Moomin collectibles as well, such as figurines or mini mugs. Inside his workshop, Christian Enkvist designs each Muminhyllan by hand, using durable Finnish birch wood. His simplistic design lets Tove Jansson’s different characters in all colors pop up wonderfully. Each shelf is unique and has a serial number on the back. Muminhyllan came originally in three colors: white, wood and black. For the 2025 summer season three new pastel colors were added: light blue, light green and light pink. The shelf is made out of Finnish 9 mm and 4 mm birch plywood. The shelf weighs 5,4 kilograms. Mounting screws are included. Dimensions: 75,5 cm x 50,5 cm x 10,5 cm
