The blade on the Great Wave Tanto is hand-forged from T10 high-carbon steel featuring a long (o)kissaki and is differentially hardened to produce a distinctive hamon. The saya is deeply lacquered in black. The tsuka is made of ribbed buffalo horn. Matching Great Wave Wakizashi and Katana are also available for a complete set.
