All of the bowl’s artworks are from Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic strip Conscientious Moomin. Did you know that in the original comic strip the Moomin laying next to the tree is actually Moomintroll and not Moominpappa? The Siesta bowl’s artwork is otherwise accurate with the original story, but Moomintroll is wearing Moominpappa’s hat on it. So the Moomin on the bowl is actually Moomintroll, not Moominpappa.
