Description • Official Moomin Characters licensee • Each product is individually inspected Moomin mug POP Little My is part of an entirely new mug series by Moomin Arabia, launched in 2025. The mugs in the new POP collection will be available exclusively in the Japanese market. Each POP mug has a capacity of 0.3 liters. At the time of launch in 2025, the series will include four mugs: Snufkin, Moomintroll, Little My, and Snorkmaiden. On the front of the POP Little My mug, one of Moominvalley’s beloved characters, Little My, is depicted with a whimsical look on her face. On the other side of the mug, a contemplative Moomintroll has joined Little My. Inside each POP mug, there’s a small speech bubble featuring a quote in English that reflects the personality of the character shown on the mug. The quote in this mug reads: “I only have excellent ideas.” Since the 1990s, Arabia’s Moomin mugs have been based on Kaj Franck’s Teema series. However, the POP mugs by Moomin Arabia are based on the Mainio model designed by Irina Viippola in 2018. Uniquely, POP mugs are made from stoneware, which gives the outer base a naturally slightly yellowish hue. There’s another surprise on the bottom stamp: the familiar painting Moomintroll has been replaced by a painting Little My. POP mugs come without labels and are instead sold in individual gift boxes.
