The tray belongs to the Moomin Arabia Classics series. The Sweethearts collection was launched simultaneously with the Loving Care collection. The tray is 35 cm in diameter. Love, in its various forms, is a common theme across many of Moomin Arabia’s early 2026 novelties. On the Sweethearts tray, love is portrayed through forgiveness. The illustration on the collection shows Moomintroll thinking he has found a logbook filled with mermaid fantasies on the beach. In reality, however, it is Snorkmaiden’s closely guarded diary. Upset by this mix-up, Snorkmaiden smacks Moomintroll on the head with the book. On the tray’s illustration, however, the sweethearts have already reconciled. Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden are depicted embracing each other in a sea of flowers. The illustration on the Sweethearts collection is based on no fewer than three different comic strip stories by Tove and Lars Jansson: Moomin Under Sail (1959), The Conscientious Moomins (1958), and Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo (1958).
